Dr. Muhaj completed her graduation (MBBCh) from the Baghdad University, Iraq in 1995. In 2001, she completed her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from same institution. She obtained her Arab Board Certification in 2001. She also became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecology , UK in 2007. Dr. Muhaj started her career in 1995 at the Alyarmouk Teaching Hospital in Iraq. In 2002, she joined the Alomora General Hospital as Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2003, she moved to the Alhabiba Maternity Teaching Hospital. Post 2004, Dr. Muhaj moved to the United Arab Emirates where she practiced at a number of well-known private hospitals in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Muhaj has more than 20 years of experience in her field.  Her areas of interest include colposcopy and screening of cervical cancers. She also takes special interest in menstrual disorders and ante-natal care for high risk pregnancies.
